At the University of Newcastle, we build degrees that promote global learning opportunities, facilitate specialised work placements and encourage entrepreneurial approaches to study.
We aim to shape graduates who are more than degree-qualified: our Work Integrated Learning programs have forged strong partnerships with leading local and global organisations to provide our students with challenging and inspiring opportunities to acquire practical workplace skills.
Students can choose to participate in our Innovation, Start-ups and Entrepreneurship course, or bring big ideas into reality with our Innovation Hubs or Student Enterprise Club.

NEW SPACES TO SPARK IDEAS
The University of Newcastle provides state-of-the-art teaching, learning and research facilities, including the $95 million NeW Space facility, which opened to students in 2017. All our facilities offer innovative approaches to education at all of our locations – Newcastle (Callaghan), Newcastle CBD, Central Coast, Sydney, Port Macquarie and Singapore.
