Intensive English Language Program

Students whose English skills aren’t strong enough to matriculate at Temple University or who want to improve their English competency for personal growth can attend Temple’s Intensive English Program (IELP).

Temple’s IELP, founded in 1974, has a long tradition of helping non-native speakers build their reading, writing and speaking skills in English. Sessions offered six times per year, and short-term programs offered seasonally, allow students to begin their studies when it is convenient for them. The IELP also offers Access Temple for students admitted conditionally to Temple University (http://ielp.temple.edu/find-program).
