Bachelor of Applied Science
We now offer Bachelors of Applied Science degrees (BAS). Compared to regular four-year degrees, BAS degrees are more career-focused, have more hands-on training, build more on work experience, and are more affordable.

Edmonds College is 25 minutes north of downtown Seattle and 45 minutes north of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Located in the Pacific Northwest region of the U.S., Edmonds is approximately 2 hours south of Vancouver, Canada, and minutes away from parks and beaches on the Puget Sound.

The Edmonds campus is in Lynnwood, Washington — a safe, quiet suburb of Seattle that offers hiking trails, an aquatic center, a golf course, extensive shopping, and a great mix of dining options. ENGLISH LANGUAGE INSTITUTE

Accelerate your English journey at Edmonds College! The new English Language Institute at Edmonds College (ELI) will offer four levels of English language courses designed for academic and professional preparation.

Program Structure

  • 4 levels: Low Beginner, High Beginner, Low Intermediate, and High Intermediate
  • Small class size
  • 18 hours of classes per week
  • After 3 months, students may progress to the next level or jump levels based on their individual performance.

Weekly Schedule

  • 10 hours of Integrated Skills Course (Reading, Writing, Grammar)
  • 5 hours of Speaking and Listening Course
  • 3 hours of English Skills Support Course (beginner levels only) or of College and Career Success Course (advanced levels only)
